I've recently sent off the next two in the series of round Robin collages. One of them was the fourth layer - there didn't seem to be much left to me to do, so I tried to emphasise the lovers with gold tissue and link them to the mysterious door and the woods. I added falling hearts (like falling leaves) to give more eye pulling power.
The second collage was the second layer. I was presented with a sheet that looked like a giant bar code over a pinky red background. I used a credit card to scrape white gold and quinacridone magenta in blocky shapes. To add texture I used a stamp with pinks and mauves and some punchinella as a stencil for gold paint.
They've now gone on to their next art workers.
The first round robin is now nearly finished and I am looking forward to getting my own collage back.
