I finally finished another Artist's Journal - the Mexican themed one.
Other people had done wonderful pages of colours of Mexico, 5th May celebrations, Frida Kahlo, Travels, Food and so I wracked my brain for something else to do.
I have always been fascinated by the Day of the Dead festivities which use skulls and skeletons to remember the dead and celebrate ongoing life.
It is a happy festival with lots of colour. I did some research and then adapted a picture I found.
I used a combination of watercolour pencils and acrylic paints
