They did get finished. A little more machine embroidery, some hand stitching to add a little "je ne sais quoi" and then a tad more of the machining. Normally I would do the hand work last but I did it while we were away and didn't have the machine with me.
Although I seemed to have packed enough stuff for several weeks away, embroidery, knitting, 3 books, 4 magazines,and not to mention the 5 wine bottles or the Partridge in the Pear Tree, I still didn't think of the sewing machine. Having just read Yarn Harlot's latest column where she contemplates taking her spinning wheel on her bike (not, I hope, to spin while riding) perhaps I should have added it to the mix!
The cards have been posted complete with stamps and a comment from the lady at the Post Office showing her to be knowledgeable about Artists Post Cards, but never having seen fabric ones before.
I sent this Pic to my APC group and was honoured to have it placed on the Home page.
